As a Veterinary Assistant you will:
- Assisting clients and their pets for routine office visits
- Establish relationships with the doctors
- Collecting and preparing laboratory samples
- Assisting with diagnostic imaging
- Effectively communicating with clients
- Administering medications
- Keeping medical records
- Recognizing animal behavior norms
- Sterilizing lab and surgical equipment
- Understanding pharmacology basics
- Basic math
- Able to address client concerns and answer them appropriately.
- Ensures hospital working areas are cleaned, stocked and maintained in accordance with hospital policy
