Resort Security Manager
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Security Manager to oversee safety and security operations in a dynamic hospitality environment. This role is pivotal in creating a safe and welcoming experience for guests, employees, and vendors, while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Compensation - $65k to $75k
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety and security programs to minimize risks and loss throughout the property.
- Ensure full compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Provide strategic leadership in security efforts, identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities.
- Hire, train, supervise, and coordinate activities of security teams, fostering a culture of professionalism and responsiveness.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all safety and security concerns, responding promptly to incidents and emergencies.
- Prepare detailed, accurate incident reports and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to safeguard property, assets, and personnel.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills, leadership, and dedication to service excellence, with the following qualifications being essential:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to interact tactfully and diplomatically with a wide range of individuals.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in safety, security, or a related field such as first response.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a particular focus on Microsoft Word for drafting detailed reports.
- Required certifications and licensing, including CPR/First Aid certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to successfully complete the applicable Guard Certification.
- A high level of professionalism, neat appearance, and a commitment to service.
- Availability and willingness to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check, drug screening, and reference verification.
