Description : Summary
- Under the guidance and direction of Chief and Assistant Chief Engineer, our Facilities Engineer supports the Facilities team during the shift day-to-day operations. The Engineer will answer calls, repair equipment, complete inspections, facility walk through and preventative maintenance to include projects as assigned. The Engineer practices and assures all safety precautions are followed, while always wearing appropriate PPE.
Responsibilities
Provides outstanding customer service to guests and all other Team Members.Responsible for timely repairs, installation, and preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, chillers and any other pieces of equipment that would need service.Responsible for reading meters, gauges and other testing instruments accurately and effectively in order to detect and identify problems and the appropriate paths for repairs.Responsible for all timely and accurate documentation of all repairs and preventive maintenance reports.Perform departmental technical projects which will include, but not limited to, electrical and mechanical equipment repair or other duties as required.Landscaping / sprinkler maintenance.Perform carpentry repairs.Perform plumbing repairs.Perform electrical repairs.Perform masonry work.Requires technical knowledge of the construction and maintenance work involved, and the ability to use cost-estimating methods.Must be able to follow safety guidelines and make sure all OSHA safety guidelines are adhered to.Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).Presents a positive image of the company to guests and vendors and assists them as required.Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.Physical Demands / Work Environment
3-5 years of experience in facility maintenance and operations.Knowledgeable in 4 or more disciplines : HVAC, plumbing, electronics, carpentry, painting, diesel systems, hydraulics, water distribution or treatment, fire suppression systems, kitchen equipment, metal fabrication, landscaping, heavy equipment operation, or general trades.Regularly mobile and requires prolonged standing, walking bending, overhead reaching, ladder climbing, and hand / eye coordination.Note

Requirements :
Qualifications / Education / Experience
Three years' minimum maintenance worker or equivalent experience required.Must be familiar with boom lifts / scissor lifts.Must obtain certification for forklift / or other heavy equipment within 90 days of employment.Experience using hand and power tools.Ability to communicate in a positive and professional manner with tenants, Team Members, and vendors.Available for emergency call-in, possible weekend and overnight shifts.Ability to exercise good judgement.Good customer service skills.Team player attitude.Must be at least 21 years of age.Valid drivers license and clean driving record required.High school diploma or equivalent.If none of the applicants should meet the stated qualifications, applicants whose education and experience are less than the stated requirements, may be interviewed and hired provided the applicant hired submits a formal written training plan within (30) thirty days which can be completed within a reasonable time agreed upon by the supervisor and the applicant. Applicants who are hired and fail to meet the agreed upon formal training program, will be discharged upon failure to complete the specified training as so scheduled.

This position requires a background, finance, and drug screening. You will be required to provide two years' worth of tax returns, 12 months of bank statements, and have no felony or theft in your criminal history. If any of the gaming requirements are not met, it will result in the applicant being denied a gaming license.
