Join our quickly expanding Manufactured Home Community property management team at Augustine Property Management.
We are a Midwest based real estate company specializing in the management of high quality well located manufactured home communities. We continue to experience rapid growth and have acquired many new communities over the past year that require local onsite professionals.
A critical role for each community is the job of Community Manager. We currently have a position available in Marshalltown, Iowa. This community is an all-age scenic mobile home community in a rural setting just outside of the city limits and will be a large infill project.
Applicants should be self-motivated, deadline orientated, show initiative, reliable, responsible, communicate well, able to multi-task and follow instruction. Applicants preferred to have at least two years of experience in property management. Manufactured home or apartment operations is a plus, but not required. Having knowledge of basic office computer platforms and software is mandatory.
The job of the Community Manager is an important one as you are the primary person in charge of resident (customer) accounts and issues on site as well as responsible for the three biggest concerns in property management: Collections/Delinquency, Sales/Occupancy, Curb Appeal/Community appearance.
Daily Duties (include but are not limited to):
Existing Homeowners:
- Direct day to day operations of a mobile home community
- Service the community base as your customer
- Working with and communicate with a regional manager for effective community management
- Answering incoming calls and field requests daily in a timely manner
- Enforce community rules and serve notices as required.
- Promptly report all issues to regional manager
Potential / New Homeowners:
- Field and process home purchase and rental applications
- Stage, advertise and show homes to potential prospects
Rent Manager- Work in the Rent Manager management software to:
- Update homeowner information,
- Update billing information as required
- Input homeowner correspondence, letters, notices, violations
- Assist residents with account collections
Vendors:
- Manage onsite vendors as needed
- Process vendor invoices correctly to accounting department
- Miscellaneous office administrative work, etc as required.
Requirements:
- Must have reliable registered transportation (locations in Marshall and Columbia, MO)
- Must be able to interact and use email daily
- Must have valid Driver’s License.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening if requested
- Experience using Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word & Excel, email, scanners, fax, and other basic office tools
Job Type: Position is full time with business hours being primarily Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5Pm although occasional weekend and evening work may be needed.
Pay: Base Salary of $40-50K dependent on experience plus generous bonus and commission potential of $10,000-$20,000 additional per year. Housing can be provided as part of salary compensation on top of base salary!

Work Location:
- Missouri - Marshall and Columbia (Three Communities) : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Available for travel to other communities as needed on occasion.
Salary : $10,000 - $20,000
