About The Role
Albert Uster Imports is seeking a hands-on Business Process & Application Manager. This role will partner with the company’s functional leaders to create better business outcomes by implementing streamlined processes, building analytical tools, improving system functionality while working closely in parallel with the Technology team. In this role, you will get exposure to all AUI’s functions and drive the end-to-end mechanics of the business. In addition, you will have the opportunity to partner with functional leaders to understand key issues, then craft and implement solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and overall strategic success. This role is perfect for someone who thrives as a utility player eager to develop a robust core skill set in project management, change management and analytics, with a strong interest in business processes and technology applications.
This is not a fully remote role. This role is located in Gaithersburg and is on a hybrid schedule.
As a response to the pandemic, Albert Uster Imports Inc. office employees have transitioned to a hybrid working schedule, requiring employees to report in-person Monday through Wednesday, with the option to telework on Thursday and Friday each week. Due to the collaborative, cross-functional nature of the organization, employees at the Gaithersburg office are required to work in-person for the abovementioned days, outside of any People & Culture-approved disability accommodation request.

We hire exceptional people to perform a wide variety of important functions that contribute to the success of the Company. One of the ways we do that is through a competitive compensation package. The base salary for this role will be $110,000 - $120,000.
This role will be bonus eligible.
Based on your qualifications, previous experience, and transferrable skills, the Company will determine at its sole discretion, the salary offered.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with AUI functional leaders to understand issues impacting productivity for optimal decision-making
- Build analytical tools that draw meaningful conclusions and develop business strategy and best practice recommendations
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to define project scope, set clear objectives, and establish measurable deliverables
- Own end-to-end project management including documentation of requirements, solution recommendations, and implementation by 1) implementing streamlined processes and technical solutions; 2) building analytical tools; and 3) improving system functionality
- Develop, write, and communicate business requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of business solutions; by analyzing existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Actively engage hands-on when needed to troubleshoot issues, support users, or configure system improvements to ensure operational efficiency
- Train users and implement new processes to support strategic and technical initiatives working with business leaders and end users
- Lead the management and optimization of our BP&T stack, with a primary focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central or Customer Engagement) and other critical business systems such as Power BI and WMS.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- 5 or more years of experience managing business applications, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (BC or CE) and WMS or other enterprise systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – ability to lead and influence internal stakeholders; ability to work collaboratively across team
- Data-driven decision maker, with tangible experience building analytical models - ability to distill, identify takeaways, and make recommendations
- Experienced in managing multiple projects effectively both independently and as part of a larger team
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology and process improvements to organizational goals; including Dynamics D365 systems
- Strong proficiency in Excel and analytical platforms, Power BI is a plus
- Experience with vendor and consultant management, a plus
- Critical thinker, organized, and results oriented individual
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
