Housekeeper
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Housekeeper to join our team at Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hotel property Guest rooms.
- Remove linens and trash from Guest rooms as assigned.
- Transport dirty linens and towels to the linen room and loading dock.
- Deliver items requested by guests.
- Issue machines, cribs, and air mattresses as needed in Guest Rooms.
- Restock linen rooms, sweep and clean the linen floor and room daily.
- Remove trash and recycle materials to appropriate areas throughout the day.
Requirements:
- Flexible and adaptable to work in various areas, conditions, and/or have changing start/end times.
- Committed to working various shift times, AM/PM.
- Proactive and able to immediately communicate concerns and react to situations.
- Must use Personal Protective Equipment, hand tools, power equipment/tools, and disinfectants, degreasing chemicals, and all cleaning products.
- Some roles require additional specialized training in procedure and ergonomic principles.
- Able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Proficient in the use of mobile devices.
- Self-directed and able to complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cleaning environment.
- Previous experience in a self-directed role requiring little follow-up/supervision.
- Knowledge of Hawaiian or Japanese language preferred.
Availability:
Must be fully available to work any shift on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Must be available to work up to 40 hours per week during training.
