BASIC FUNCTION:
To provide and ensure the nutritional aspects of patient care and to provide educational and instructional service to patients, families and the community at large.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
Registered Dietitian, licensed in the state of Ohio
Ability to educate clients of diverse backgrounds and education levels
Ability to work with all types of people
Ability to make appropriate decisions
Ability to flex hours and assignments to complete all aspects of the job on a limited schedule – inpatient and resident competent with the Nutrition Care Process
Must be computer-literate to complete task(s) as required. Such as Cerner (Hospital Support Software), Halogen (performance appraisal system), Relias (education system), ability to retrieve e-mails, complete online enrollment for health insurance/benefits and any other programs as assigned
CDE credential preferred but not required
