LPN - SPORTS MED/ORTHO

BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for preparing patients for physician exam/treatment, assisting physicians, performing tests and procedures, provide patient education and maintenance of clinical areas. Provides patient care as ordered and exercises professional judgment in the performance of patient care procedures. Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates action. Maintains patient confidentiality.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

1. Currently licensed by the Ohio State Board of Nursing as an LPN.
2. CPR certified acquired through the American Heart Association.
3. Prior medical office experience encouraged.
