PURPOSE OF POSITION
Unit Assistant in the Labor and Delivery
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
The primary purpose of the Unit Assistant is to perform clerical duties. The LDRP UA role involves chart implementation, data entry, answering phones, assisting families with visitation standards, providing patient and family teaching, performing newborn hearing screens, and working cooperatively with the health care team in the LDRP. |

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- 7pm-7:30am Shift M-F or hours as required by the job. Every other weekend and holiday.
- Subject to frequent interruptions and changes in priority of duties throughout the day.
