Operations Manager - Amazon Delivery Service Partner

We are a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Delivering packages for Amazon. We are looking to hire a highly motivated Operations Manager who is ready to lead our team of middle-mile delivery associates to success. We're building a team that feels like family!

As an Operations Manager, you will lead and motivate others, have a voice in the company and accomplish great things! We operate 7 days a week, 361 days a year.

Responsibilities include onboarding, leading, developing, and engaging a team of exceptional Delivery Associates (DA’s) who make this operation possible. The Operations Manager is a creative problem solver who can interpret data and deliver results that drive productivity and efficiency. Some of the positions key responsibilities include:

• Successfully managing our fleet of 15 vans
• Leading and developing a team of 50 hourly associates
• Conduct interviews and onboard new hires
• Maintain fleet with weekly inspections and make arrangements for repair and maintenance
• Responsible for the overall safety, quality, and performance of all team members
• Carry out Supervisory responsibilities that align with company policies and procedures
• Accountable to meet or exceed operational goals
• Hire, train, and develop associates for operation success and career development
• Create, communicate, and maintain quality control policies and standard work procedures for Supervisors and Delivery Associates
• Proactively identify and drive process improvement initiatives
• Build and develop weekly Supervisor and DA schedules utilizing forecasts and productivity requirements ensuring balance of labor
• Evaluate performance objectives and metrics to determine productivity requirements to meet or exceed customer time, accuracy, and quality expectations
• Assist in managing Fleet including daily inspections, damage/claim assessments, and rental vehicles
• Partner with internal and external business stakeholders to promote an inclusive work environment
• Provide daily & weekly report on performance to owner
• This is a 7 day a week operation. Must be flexible and available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
