Position Overview: Litigation Associate
We are seeking a Litigation Associate to support and grow our workers’ compensation and employment law practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills and a minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation. Experience in the areas of workers’ compensation, insurance defense, and/or employment law are considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial.
- Represent clients at administrative and court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Collaborate with clients, third party administrators, and opposing counsel.
- Consistently communicate with clients regarding the status of pending matters.
- Provide legal counsel and risk assessment to clients.
- Conduct legal research and analysis, draft briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Ohio State Bar; additional state bar admissions are a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in civil litigation. Experience in workers’ compensation, insurance defense, and/or employment litigation considered a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $100,000 to $150,000 , dependent upon experience.
