FLOOR LEAD
Location: Coldwater, MI
Compensation: Starting wage is $24.20per hour
Schedule: 2nd Shift 1:30pm-9:30pm

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for running the warehouse as safely and efficiently as possible while maintaining quality and effectiveness. Support supervision in all aspects of the operation. Follow policies and procedures, including all Aunt Millie’s Food Safety and HACCP procedures which are critical to product safety, legality, and quality as well as following and enforcing all GMP’s, SOP’s and check sheets.
Essential Job Functions:
Operate warehouse machinery safely and effectively.
Perform hourly checks to ensure all products are of the highest standard.
Pull one unit per product run to do quality checks. Make and maintain retention sample boxes.
Make sure changeovers are set up correctly (Correct packing method, box, etc.)
Relieve for breaks every two hours. These include box maker, robot, and forklift.
Assist with the training of new hires.
Inform supervisor of any inconsistencies immediately.
Maintain a safe working environment for all employees and adhere to company safety goals. Alert management or safety personnel immediately of any safety issues. Understand and comply with OSHA standards at all times.
Follow established quality control procedures.
Maintain a clean working environment.
Any and all other duties deemed necessary by supervision.
The above duties are to be performed during normal distribution center hours. All employees must follow established GMP’s and always written and spoken safety rules. Any concerns should be directed to a supervisor immediately.
