Small groups of children (4-5 children) to care for, supervise and carry out daily lesson plans and activities. We are looking for an Infant/Toddler Teacher to encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children at our facility. You will teach and supervise, while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination.
Responsibilities
- Follow a full schedule of learning activities in conjunction with our curriculum.
- Provide basic care, caregiving learning activities
- Monitor children’s performance to ensure they are on the right learning track
- Remain in communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children
- Observe children’s interactions and promote the spirit of concord
- Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources
- Maintain cleanliness of your classroom and children's areas
- MUST be trustworthy
- Willing to grow with our facility and children
Skills desired
- Experience as a child care aide/daycare worker/assistant teacher
- Some knowledge of child development and children with high needs and up-to-date education methods
- Methodical and creative
- Patience, flexibility and love for children
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Certificate in first aid and CPR preferred but not required for hire (company can train)
- Team player
