Aura Health Services is a growing healthcare company that strives to provide community-based mental health rehabilitative services to diverse clients in the Twin Cities Metro. We are hiring a Part-time/Full-time ARMHS Clinical Supervisor to provide guidance, supervision, training, and education to mental health practitioners and ensure compliance with DHS requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a valid license with the mental health professional's governing health-related licensing board and provide services to clients within the scope of practice determined by the applicable board.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments/admissions for new clients and provide updates as necessary.
- Meet with ARMHS practitioners for individual supervision as needed and accurately document supervision per DHS guidelines.
- Conduct annual evaluations of ARMHS practitioners and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist with planning and facilitating monthly group supervision sessions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all mental health services provided.
- Ensure Diagnostic Assessments, Functional Assessments, WHODAS, progress notes, and other necessary documents are completed promptly and according to DHS guidelines.
- Oversee treatment/intervention reflective of client needs, with clear expected outcomes and strategies.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with state and county agencies, community providers, and other stakeholders in behavioral health.
- Ensure program participant privacy by following HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure required (LICSW, LP, LPCC, or LMFT).
- A minimum of 4,000 hours (post-Master's) of verifiable work experience providing services and support to individuals with mental illness.
- Two years of previous supervisory experience preferred (must be clinical supervision).
- Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations concerning services to individuals with mental illness, including IRTS Variance.
- Experience with Diagnostic Assessments is required.
- Capability to work responsibly with confidential information.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) licensed under section 148B.5301.
