Job Title: Physical Therapist 13 Week Contract
Location: Olivia, MN
Overview:
This role offers the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including Outpatient, Inpatient, and Home Health. You will be responsible for supervising Physical Therapist Assistants, consulting with patients, reviewing medical history, diagnosing movement dysfunction, and developing treatment plans.
- Responsibilities:
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants to ensure high-quality patient care
- Consult with patients to understand their needs and review medical history to inform treatment decisions
- Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's requirements
- Teach therapeutic exercises and maintain accurate patient records to track progress
- Advise on in-home treatment options to promote continuity of care
Qualifications:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in physical therapy
- Valid state licensure to practice as a physical therapist
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Experience preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply
