Job Title: Salon & Spa Receptionist
Job Summary:
Previous salon and spa reception experience is highly preferred. We are seeking a friendly, professional, and reliable individual to join our team as a Salon & Spa Receptionist. The ideal candidate must be proficient with computers, possess strong customer service skills, and be a true people person. This role involves managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, handling transactions, and ensuring an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients warmly and ensure a welcoming environment.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
- Schedule and confirm appointments using salon and spa software.
- Process transactions accurately, including handling cash, credit card payments, and counting money at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Maintain an organized and clean reception area.
- Provide product and service information to clients.
- Assist with inventory management and retail sales.
- Communicate effectively with stylists, therapists, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Address customer concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a salon and spa reception role is highly preferred.
- Strong computer skills and experience using booking software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle financial transactions with accuracy and integrity.
