Job Title: Dialysis Technician
Location: Temple, TX
Pay Range: $23 to $33 per hour (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time (36 hours per week, variable shifts)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment, including setting up, operating, and cleaning machines.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, checking vital signs and ensuring patient comfort.
- Administer local anesthetics and insert needles into patients’ veins for dialysis access.
- Troubleshoot dialysis machines and respond to alarms or malfunctions promptly.
- Educate patients on dialysis procedures and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe treatment environment.
- Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Dialysis Technician preferred; however, on-the-job training is provided for the right candidate.
- Certification: Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
