What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Shop Quality Control Inspector position at Aurelius Manufacturing, Inc.?
The Machine Shop Quality Control Inspector has primary responsibilities as follows:
- Complete first part inspections of machined parts on the shop floor.
- Complete inspections of incoming material.
- Assist with gage calibration and other quality processes.
Qualifications
- Strong print reading skills.
- Experience with a wide range of gages such as calipers, micrometers, thread gages, depth gages, go/no-go gages, etc.
- Attention to detail.
- A good communicator and team player.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Manufacturing plant environment that includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, noise, dust, industrial solvents, liquids, and other materials. Must be capable of wearing the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) necessary to comply with safety policies. This position requires standing for lengthy periods of time, bending, lifting materials weighing up to 50 lbs., twisting and gripping.
Pay
$18 - $23 per hr.
