Job Summary
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a travel Perfusionist to join their team on a 16-week assignment in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform intra-aortic balloon pumping and autologous blood recovery according to standard operating procedures.
- Administer cardioplegic solutions, blood, and blood products IV fluids, medications, and anesthetics during extracorporeal circulation as prescribed by and under the direct supervision of the cardiothoracic surgeon.
- Complete an accurate perfusion care record with documentation done.
- Perform Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation initiation and TAVR standby.
Requirements:
- Specialty: Perfusionist
- Discipline: Allied Health Professional
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- State License-Perfusionist-North Dakota
- ABCP-CCP (Certified Clinical Perfusionist)
Work Environment:
The hours are M-F plus call 1 in 3. Perform tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment with high level of patient interaction.
