Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a travel CT Technologist to join our team in Sanford, Maine. The selected candidate will work in a 20-bed critical access facility with GE Maxima CT and Schumadzu Xray equipment.
Job Overview
The Travel CT Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology. They will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Collaborate with radiologists to discuss scan results and provide additional information as needed
- Maintain accurate records of patient data, imaging procedures, and radiation exposure levels
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
- ARRT-CT certification or ability to obtain it upon offer
- State license to practice as a radiology technologist in Maine
- 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiology or related field
- Ability to work variable weekdays, 6:30a-8p, and participate in on-call rotation
