Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a 14-week assignment in a 289-bed hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular-interventional imaging and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures, including angiograms, biopsies, and vascular interventions
- Operate medical imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and ultrasound devices
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate records and follow radiation safety protocols
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography or Interventional Radiology
- NJ state license and CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment (up to 100lbs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
