Job Title: Travel Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate travel occupational therapist to join our team at a skilled nursing facility in Coventry, Rhode Island.
Job Summary:
As a travel occupational therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' functional abilities and independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and strategies for daily living
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent from an accredited program
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Rhode Island
- At least one year of experience in skilled nursing settings, preferably in occupational therapy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
