Auria is looking to hire a Cybersecurity Analyst (MDA) to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. Work location is in Colorado Springs, CO.
As a Principal Cybersecurity Analyst, you will collaborate with development teams, third-party assessors, and system owners to manage the Information System Configuration Baseline. You will work across various Cross-Functional Product Teams (CFPT) and with Operational maintenance teams to ensure cybersecurity compliance and effectiveness.

As a Principal Cybersecurity Analyst, you will collaborate with development teams, third-party assessors, and system owners to manage the Information System Configuration Baseline. You will work across various Cross-Functional Product Teams (CFPT) and with Operational maintenance teams to ensure cybersecurity compliance and effectiveness.
Essential Functions:
- Develop technical documentation, assess Configuration Compliance, and address cybersecurity vulnerabilities
- Conduct risk analysis for Risk Acceptance Requests (RARs) and provide Cyber support to the C2BMC program
- Possess strong knowledge of information assurance technology and DoD information assurance certification requirements
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, DoDI 8500.2, Common Criteria, NIAP, and RMF Security Controls
- Understand the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and its importance in delivering high-quality software

- Current/active in-scope DoD issued SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience,
- or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience,
- or a PhD and 1 years of experience,
- or 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
- DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security CE, CCNA-Security, CND, CySA , CISSP, CISA, etc.) is required at the start date
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs
- Experience in DoD operational computing environments and working as part of an integrated information assurance team
- Working knowledge of ACAS (Tenable.sc / Tenable Nessus) and Cybersecurity scanning tools
- Security engineering skills with a working knowledge of information assurance technology and DoDI 8500.2
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to support complex organizational relationships
- Familiarity with security architecture design, Security Audit tools, and administration of security devices such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux, Windows, Juniper, CISCO, Firewall security configuration experience, ESS, and other Cyber tools is a plus
