We are currently searching for Launch Manager to join our team at our Auria Fremont Plant in Fremont, Ohio.Responsibilities Overview:
- Coordinates development of new and replacement programs; tooling and processes ahead of launch requirements. Facilities internal change process, capital projects, and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve plant performance.
- Coordinates and maintains APQP documentation as required. Facilitates regular APQP plant meetings.
- Interfaces with customers and AURIA Corporate Engineering and Program Management groups to provide required resources and support for launch activities.
- Provides support of design engineering changes on new and existing programs.
- Site leader for internal and external change management.
- Performs, develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
- Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow by designing the layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
- Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
- Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
- Examines, plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment to determine if all safety precautions have been included.
- Inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facility to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations for new work cells.
- Support Manufacturing/Process Engineering duties as needed.
