Auria Space is seeking a Senior Portfolio Software Engineerin Manager to join our team in El Segundo, CA. On this team, you will support the United States Space Force design and develop applications to modernize Space Domain Awareness and Space C2 Warfighter capabilities. These applications enhance the capabilities for the Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC), 18th Space Control Squadron (SPCS), and National Space Defense Center (NSDC).
In this role, you will oversee and advise the software development teams to ensure each team is achieving technical excellence.
Salary Range: $162,240.00 - $229,840.00
Requirements:
- 15 years of relevant experience.
- 10 or more years of direct experience as a lead software engineer for application development teams.
- 10 or more years supporting DoD software development programs
- Security clearance required
- BS in computer science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or similar.
- Experience developing space software
- Wide range of software languages known
- Experience developing USSF/USAF software
- Ability to lead multiple independent application teams
- Ability to convey complex, technical ideas to government leadership.
Preferred:
- 15 years of experience developing space software
- 10 years of experience developing USSF/USAF software
- 8 years leading multiple independent application teams
- 8 years of experience in a leadership role in which you have worked closely with government customers and been responsible for conveying complex, technical ideas.
- Master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or similar
