Come join our team of professionals at Aurora Behavioral Health System. This 138-bed free standing psychiatric inpatient hospital and outpatient program located in Tempe, AZ is looking for a highly motivated Business Office Manager. This position is under the supervision of the CFO.
The Business Office Manager is responsible for directing operations in the Business Office including staff management, operational development, process improvement and superior revenue cycle performance. This is a hands on position that involves frequent interaction with payers and patients regarding reimbursement and/or payment issues.

Job Duties and responsibilities
- Coordinates billings and collections with the CBO
- Responds to direct requests or questions from patients or other customers in a timely manner
- Establishes clear goals and objectives for the BO staff with the direction and support from the CEO
Requirements
- 3 years of healthcare business office supervisory experience
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare billing, follow-up and reporting systems
- Extensive knowledge of relationship between admitting, clinical areas and financial areas
- High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be able to meet qualifications for fingerprint clearance
