ABHS is looking for an experienced Full Time Maintenance Worker to provide general maintenance at our Glendale hospital. This position will be responsible for all preventative and corrective maintenance on all aspects of the facilities structure and equipment. REQUIREMENTS:
- Hospital maintenance experience required
- I.T experience a plus
- Hospital life safety experience required
- Experience with HVAC, building, equipment and utility maintenance
- Ability to provide maintenance and use power and hand tools
- Experience with all building trades preferred
- Electrical proficiency preferred
- Must be able to speak, write and understand English and be a self-starter
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated competency in skill area as indicated by verifiable training and/or experience
- Must be 21 years old
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and obtain level 1 Fingerprint Clearance
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General maintenance for the Glendale facility.
- Perform preventive maintenance and upkeep on refrigeration equipment, electrical facilities and plumbing.
- May need to periodically travel to the Tempe facility.
- Perform alterations and additions that can be accomplished by the maintenance department.
- Assure that safety measures are established and maintained consistently according to Hospital Policy and governmental regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality as needed and required for the operation of the total program.
- Other written or verbal duties as may be assigned by the Director of Plant Operations, the CEO or their designated representative.
