ABHS is looking for an experienced Director of Utilization Management for our Glendale Hospital.

Responsibilities / Job Duties :
- Responsible for overseeing prior authorization, concurrent review, retro review and appeals processes.
- Identifies opportunities to improve clinical care, customer service and internal business processes.
- Oversees and leads process improvement efforts
- Drive initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence in quality care and financial outcomes
- Ability to communicate with payers and external customers to ensure timely, accurate medical necessity reviews and appeals are completed.
- Ability to communicate with internal customers (physicians, social services teams).
Requirements
