What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Manager position at Aurora Machine?
Summary: Conduct facilities and machine maintenance to ensure a productive, clean, safe, and pleasant environment throughout manufacturing and office spaces. Work independently to complete facilities maintenance both for routine work and general maintenance as needed. Assess and repair, improve, or aid in the contracting of services to maintain the facility and equipment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Assess a variety of problems, determine best solution forward, and repair, replace or facilitate the repair of building and equipment
- Plan and execute to complete facility improvement projects
- Work with and manage onsite contractors
Skills/knowledge needed:
- General maintenance experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and project management
- CNC maintenance experience beneficial, but not required.
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to follow verbal or written instructions, and work independently
- Capable of organizing to and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work standing, bending, lifting and carrying 35lbs.
