Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Lead Certifications Case Manager to coordinate client care and ensure compliance with the certification process. This role involves collaborating with clients and their care teams to facilitate engagement in treatment, organizing and filing certification paperwork with the court, and maintaining internal tracking systems. Responsibilities also include assisting clinical teams with drafting court petitions, filing them with county clerks, transmitting paperwork to attorneys, and distributing finalized documents to treatment teams. The Lead Certifications Case Manager will work closely with the Hospital Liaison Program and other clinical teams to support adults certified for outpatient mental health treatment.
As part of AMHR’s Adult Intensive Services Division, this role contributes to specialized programs that provide critical support to individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses, including mood disorders, psychosis, and personality disorders. Familiarity with Excel and experience managing legal or clinical documentation are preferred. Schedule. This position will work Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and is eligible for a hybrid model that allows for a mix of remote and in-office work, with an expectation of being in the office two days per week and working from home three days. This schedule may be adjusted based on training, department, client, or community needs.
Bilingual Language Differential Pay. *rate depends on language requirements for the position and the candidate's fluency.

Employees will receive scheduled earnings on a bi-weekly basis, equivalent to 5% of their regular base rate (hourly or salaried), with a maximum amount of $3,000.00 per calendar year. The annual maximum amount will be prorated based on full-time equivalency (FTE).
Salary for this role. The starting wage is based on experience and company equity. Paid bi-weekly.

Essential Functions:
- Foster a culture of patient focused care, understanding that the quality of the relationship is a key factor in healing.
- Actively collaborate and communicate with staff across the agency to provide outstanding care and care coordination.
- Manage and keep organized the overall documentation requirements for certified clients.
- Communicate with attorneys, treatment providers and family members to coordinate care.
- Serve paperwork to clients in the community.
- Manage court filings for certified clients.
- If authorized and appropriate, cultivate positive relationships with each patient's outside providers to enhance care continuity and integration.
- Promote, encourage and model the practice of continuous improvement with a focus on patient experience, access, safety and treatment effectiveness.
- Help clients evaluate strengths and symptoms, and facilitate in clients setting their own goals and plan for appropriate services.
- Encourage and facilitate client involvement in their care.
- Work closely with the assigned therapist to engage certified patients in therapy and manage outreach when patients are not engaged in therapy.
- Coordinate the submission to the court of certification letters written by the medical provider or psychologist. Offer support, assistance, consultation and education to families, friends, landlords, employers, community agencies and others in order to support the client.
- Accurately and completely document of patient care records.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related of field.
- Preferred: Master's degree in a related field.
- Three (3) years of relevant clinical, medical or social work experience.
- Preferred: Five (5) years of relevant clinical, medical or social work experience.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
- Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
Required Vaccination and TB Test.
