Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a Clinical Manager for the Refugee & Immigrant Clinic to oversee operations and contribute to the leadership team at the Cultural Development and Wellness Center. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of integrated, trauma-informed services to refugees, asylees, asylum seekers and immigrants, both onsite and in the community. The ideal candidate will bring clinical experience working with diverse populations, a strong foundation in evidence-based practices, and expertise in advocacy, clinical supervision and management. $10,000 Sign On Bonus Available! *Not eligible for internal employees and re-hired employees within 90 days from separation.
Based on full time (40 hours/week). Prorated if fewer than 40 hours/week. Paid in two installments: 50% on first paycheck, 50% on paycheck following 6-month anniversary.
Bilingual Language Differential Pay. *Rate depends on language requirements for the position and the candidate's fluency.

Employees will receive scheduled earnings on a bi-weekly basis, equivalent to 10% of their regular base rate (hourly or salaried), with a maximum amount of $6,000.00 per calendar year. The annual maximum amount will be prorated based on full-time equivalency (FTE).
Schedule. This position will work Monday–Friday, 8am-5pm, and is eligible for a hybrid model that allows for a mix of remote and in-office work, with an expectation of being in the office three days per week and working from home two days. This schedule may be adjusted based on training, client, and community needs.
Essential functions:
- Manager Accountabilities: Lead employees, maintaining team focus and direction. Hire, provide performance feedback and coaching, and fire employees in accord with organization guidance. Monitor work schedules and receive and approve requests for time off based on work volumes and staffing schedules. Communicate with external stakeholders related to team accountability. Cascade information from senior leadership to lower levels in alignment with organization strategy and goals. Design and implement effective group and intergroup work and communication expectations. Define and monitor group-level performance indicators. Diagnose and resolve problems within and among work groups.
- Create and operationalize a vision for the Center of Excellence (COE). Lead the development and ongoing operations of the COE. Develop new services to meet unmet or underserved needs of the population served by the COE.
- Offer trainings to increase the capacity of other AMHR providers and teams related to the population served by the COE, and externally as a part of the Speakers Bureau. Arrange appropriate trainings of staff to improve clinical skills, including providing clinical supervision to therapists, and other team members as appropriate.
- Support recruitment and retention efforts for other clinical experts to further the work of the COE.
- Represent AMHR COE at local and state committees, and in other efforts approved by Executive Leadership. Advocate for organization's services in the community and at the state level, as appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with other AMHR teams and with community partners regarding the intersectionality of services, provide a comprehensive range of services, and ensure a smooth transition of clients from one service to another.
- Understand and adhere to budget for the program. Ensure that revenues to pay for services are documented and billable by the business office and that the funding source is known to the billing office.
- Engage and support grant and research efforts for the population served by the COE.
- Handle complaints from clients and community agencies in an efficient and satisfactory manner.
- Ensure that clinical and fiscal paperwork and online clinical records are correctly and promptly completed.
- Interact with community agencies to improve services to clients and enhance the organization's image as a competent provider of mental health services and a committed and caring member of the community.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a license eligible field.
- Preferred: Doctoral degree in a license eligible field.
- Professional licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).
- Five years' post-licensure experience in providing services to the population served by the Refugee & Immigrant Clinic, including administrative experience in behavioral health setting.
- Excellent knowledge of theoretical issues related to clinical treatment.
- Treatment philosophy consistent with the organization's goals.
- Excellent management and communication skills.
- Trained and experienced in screening, assessment, and treatment of mental health and substance abuse concerns.
- Preferred: Recognized locally, at the state level, or nationally as a renowned expert in the population or diagnosis that is serviced by the clinic as evidenced by having:
- Been named to state or national task forces, committees, board of directors, etc. related to the population served by the clinic.
- Been recognized as an established presenter on the population served by the clinic, including experience giving presentations or trainings at state, national, or other large-scale conferences in the field.
- Developed widely recognized treatment protocols or adapted evidence-based treatments for the population served by the clinic.
- Won awards from state or national organizations for serving the population that is serviced by the clinic.
- Published articles in peer-reviewed journals or books about the population serviced by the clinic.
- Other comparable accomplishments and contributions.
Required Vaccination and TB Test.
At AMHR the health and safety of our clients and staff are our top priorities. As part of this commitment, all employees are required to receive an annual influenza (flu) shot and present a negative TB test result before their first day of work. Proof of both the flu shot and negative TB test must be provided on your first day of employment. Medical and religious exemptions can be requested if necessary.
Salary for this role.
Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full-time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Fewer than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. Salary is also based on experience and company equity.
- Licensed Psychologist: $119,392.42 - $142,352.50 per year
- Licensed Therapist: $79,814.59 - $109,219.97 per year
