SUMMARY
Perform daily duties as required in the warehouse functions based on assigned area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate and maintain the workload distribution for the assigned area and set expectations with personnel performing job duties within that area.
- Accountable for the housekeeping, presentation, bin location accuracy, and reporting of damaged parts within the assigned area or department.
- Serve as a liaison between employees assigned to the area and the applicable coordinator(s)/supervisor to communicate support requests and to implement the re-distribution of labor as directed.
- Communicate, support, and achieve daily expectations.
- Continuously improve material flow, processes and efficiency of all employees working within the assigned area.
- Facilitate training for employees assigned to the area in all aspects of operations pertaining to the area.
- Encourage and promote product improvement suggestions.
- Promote safety among all employees and visitors.
- Assist in the change management of any re-designed processes or revised procedures or rules.
- Any other task as assigned by the Executives of Aurora.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a key partner to the shift supervisor, is responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of operations within the assigned area. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; requesting support; forwarding complaints to the applicable coordinator(s); and assisting the coordinator(s) in the resolution of problems pertaining to all employees and material within the assigned area.

- Must be able to follow verbal and written directions.
- Excellent attendance.
- Able to communicate and interact with people well.
- Able to demonstrate exceptional knowledge of operations in the area for which the area leader is to have accountability.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT
- Work is normally performed in a warehouse work environment.
- Bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Infrequent land/air travel may be required.
- Generally limited exposure to physical risk.
- Comfort with working at elevated heights.
