The Opportunity:
We are looking for someone to join the Operations Team as our Learning & Development Content Creator & Trainer. This individual will be responsible for creating, updating and maintaining training presentations, knowledge base articles and learning and development materials. They will also be responsible for coordinating and facilitating new hire as well as misc. one-off learning and development trainings as needed by the Operations Department leaders. It will be the responsibility of this trainer to help nurture the learning and development of all staff and manages. You will be responsible for helping verify and coordinate required access, equip our team members with the right tools and training to confidently own their roles. You will be instrumental in carrying out, evaluating, and improving our training materials & offerings to maximize employee learning and potential. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a passion for design, as well as instructional delivery, management, and/or coaching experience. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Payment Processing and Platforms knowledge (TSYS/FISERV preferred). They should have design, management, writing, editing, and facilitation experience. Training will include new hire orientation & training, skill and Knowledge training, and verification checks, misc. uptraining, product, tool and general operational services training. Content and document creation will include working with SME’s and leadership to create, build, update learning materials, documents, schedules, and outlines necessary to facilitate and deliver instructional trainings. Ongoing training, knowledge base content and creation will be a daily responsibility of this individual as agents develop, learn and grow in their roles and changes are made to curriculum, products, services, and tools or as needed by operations leadership.
The Responsibilities:
- Facilitate with an upbeat, can-do attitude
- Drive team members to leverage existing learning infrastructure and resources to enable a culture of continuous learning, and advocate for team members when they request something that is not currently available
- Assist in the development of learning programs that enhance the capabilities of team members through continuing education and skills training
- Collaborate with the sources of required training on benefits training, annual compliance training, and progression planning. While ensuring we have 100% course completion
- Manage the back end of learning administration to include certifications, knowledge assessments, external learning inquires, and internal training programs
- Lead the effort in knowledgebase & content article creation when information needs to be created, updated, dispersed or referenced by the team.
- Handle learning and development queries from business stakeholders, facilitators, and participants.
- Handle creating and delivering training on all operational, platform, service, product and tools that our company offers
- Provide on-going/ad-hoc service training based on QA responses and voice of client feedback
- Manage training room booking, set up training room/facilities, engage IT and manage programs schedules in accordance with training and facilitation needs.
- Own course evaluations and complete debrief training requesters & leadership.
- Mentor and coach team members on core concepts and be the source of fostering a positive and cohesive work environment where everyone feels inspired by their own growth & potential
Who you are:
- You’ll work in the Tempe or Las Vegas office with travel to our other locations as needed
- Exceptional written & verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational, task, and time management skills, with an emphasis on detail and follow-up and the ability to prioritize tasks and requests from multiple stakeholders and audiences.
- Able to work closely with leadership to execute training priorities
- Display strong consulting and collaboration skills.
- Able to perform training both in-person and in remote/virtual settings
- Collaborate with third parties to create and leverage training that benefits the Aurora Operations Team
What we prefer:
- A minimum two years of Payment Processing background
- Management, Design, Content Creation and coaching experience.
- Lesson Plan creation and facilitation experience
- Flexibility in travel and work hours
- Excellent and professional written & verbal communication skills.
- Experience with the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PP, notes etc)
- Experience with other content creation software (360 Learning, Camtasia, other)
