Job Responsibilities
At the direction of the classroom teacher and school leadership, the Classroom Monitor will
support educational activities for students and ensure student safety and security by:
- Enforcing established health and safety requirements including students' mask use and
- Supervising students in all aspects of the school environment
- Following the daily academic schedule as set by classroom teachers.
- Maintaining a classroom environment that is respectful and conducive to student
- Providing positive behavior support to students as needed. Communicate behavioral
- Providing technical assistance to students while they are engaged in virtual instruction.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience working with school-age children
- High School Diploma or equivalent
