Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Job Specialty : Clinical Services - Cardiology

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Rotating shifts (40 hours per week)

Guaranteed Hours : Not specified

Experience : Minimum of 1-year experience, including IR and Neuroendovascular; first-time travelers accepted with IR experience

License : Must have a valid WI License

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

Past experience in IR and Neuroendovascular procedures
Comfort in scrubbing and panning simultaneously
Experience with General IR cases such as kyphoplasty / vertebroplasty, central line / piccs / ports, and more

Job Description :

Work in a Level III Trauma Center with a 933-bed capacity, designated as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Level III NICU

Covid vaccination is required

Manage and collaborate in a department staffed 24 / 7, handling approximately 40-50 adult patients a day

Engage in General IR procedures, and preferably have experience in AAA intervention

Neuro IR experience is preferred for handling strokes, DSA, embolization, etc., but not required

Technology used includes Siemens and GE equipment among others, with experience in MedRad injectors preferred

Orientation period includes working with a preceptor for 1-2 weeks

Call scheduling includes weekday and weekend rotations, with specifics determined by experience

Opportunities to alter shift times available, with the manager open to various configurations

Weekday call involves 1 call shift per week, with weekend call every 5th weekend

Holiday call expectations may change but are currently not required

This position demands strong collaboration with a support team, including coordinators, nurse educators, lead and charge nurses, tech specialists, respiratory therapy, hospitalists, and CNAs / transporters to ensure quality patient care.

Please note the scrub color is provided, and scrubbing experience is crucial to this role.
