Position Purpose:
The Technical Services Coordinator supports Information Technology Services. The requirements of this position include assisting with purchasing processes, supporting budget activities, helping maintain vendor relationships, contributing to technical documentation, and supporting IT operations and services.

- Supports learning through performance of essential job functions and performing other duties and functions as necessary or as assigned.
Essential Job Functions:
- Create purchase order requisitions and place orders in compliance with university policies and procedures.
- Track ordered items to verify complete delivery of all products.
- Review invoices for categorization and accuracy and obtain required approvals.
- Monitor the lifecycle of software, licenses, and support agreements and process renewals.
- Support budget management by initiating budget adjustments, monitoring actuals, and developing budget projections.
- Coordinate digital signage content distribution across campus displays.
- Contribute to vendor relationship management and positive service quality assurance.
- Utilize tools and systems to communicate and collaborate effectively.
- Assist with user account management for various applications.
- Support departmental organization by helping with inventory management.
- Aid in producing instructional guides or documentation.
- Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned.
Essential Job Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma required. College degree preferred.
Experience: Experience in an office environment and/or Information Technology preferred
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Flexibility to handle changing priorities and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
- Knowledge of collaboration tools (Confluence, RingCentral, SharePoint, Slack, Teams, Trello, and Zoom).
- Familiarity with project management tools.
The pay range referenced in the job posting is the budgeted amount the university reasonably expects to pay for this position. The final pay rate will not be below the lowest pay rate listed herein.
