Bonjour! My name is Aurore Adam, I am the owner of Aurore French Bakery. I fell in love with Montana thanks to my twin sister Alison, who has been living here for 5 years. I finally made the move from Paris to Bozeman in order to open an authentic French Bakery here in the Gallatin Valley. I was trained in France and bringing my baking "savoir-faire" to Bozeman was my dream. I started by baking out of my kitchen, attending Farmer's Markets, catering weddings and other events. On July 14th 2023, we officially opened our Brick and Mortar store, in Four Corners, Bozeman. We are still in the early stages and have seen great success selling our products and building our customer base. Now, we are focused on growing and improving every day. If you want to be a part of an exciting new company, this is the job for you.
Our core team is made up of 8 people - bread baker, pastry chef, assistant baker, tourier and barista/cashiers, assistant baker and manager, and manager.
We are proud of our work here and we have a very positive and encouraging culture. That said, working here is seriously HARD work. That means being on your feet for entire shifts, stayed focus on your tasks, cleaning and re-cleaning constantly, and maintaining a positive professional attitude in interactions with customers and staff.
If you are moody, lazy or do not thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, this is not the job for you.

Below are some of the daily tasks that you will be responsible for at Aurore French Bakery - list non exhaustive:
Responsibilities:
- Make traditional French sandwiches with our Baguette bread, and other speciality sandwich such as the Croque-Monsieur and its Béchamel sauce with sourdough breads.
- Make all the sauces and fillings used in pastries and brioches recipes: apple sauce, crème pâtissière, lemon curd, strawberry coulis, cinnamon filling and icing, etc...
- Assist the Tourière AKA Croissant Baker: making the dough, laminating, shaping, rolling, proofing, cooking croissants and of course, rock and rolling!
- Create unique pastry of the month with the Croissant baker.
- Enhance existing or create new recipes that increase product line availability, customer interest, and overall bakery profitability.
- Participate in brainstorming new products, recipes, and creations that will have both commercial bakery and wholesale distribution possibilities.
- Ensure production quality.
- Estimate supply and ingredient needs.
- Coordinate timing of food production activities.
- Record operational or production data.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements for Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Baker or Cook. But not mandatory!
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with our team.
- Flexibility: Because Aurore French Bakery is a new business, we need to be able to adapt to changes and improvements every day.
- Receptive to suggestions and opportunities for improvement.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations.
- Being able to lift heavy items (55 lbs - 25 kg).

Aurore French Bakery's Goals & Future:

Working Days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Schedule:
- 6 AM to ~2 PM - Wednesday.
- 4 AM to ~11 PM - Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Pay: $17-20 per hour (depending on experience) TIPS.
Position: Full time, 1 year employment contract minimum. We are looking for someone who will be part of the growth of the company.
