Dishwasher/FOH Assistant

Bonjour! Aurore French Bakery brings authentic French pastries, breads, and café culture to Bozeman. We opened our storefront in May 2023 after years of growing through farmers markets and events. We’re expanding our team and looking for a part-time Dishwasher / FOH Assistant who takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and flowing smoothly.

This is a behind-the-scenes role that supports both the kitchen and front-of-house teams — and is essential to our daily success.

About the Role: This is a physically active, fast-paced job. You’ll be responsible for dishwashing, keeping our dining area spotless, restocking supplies, and helping with light packaging tasks. It’s a great fit for someone who’s detail-oriented, self-motivated, and wants to be part of a positive team environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Washing dishes from both front and back of house
• Scraping, wiping, and washing baking pans
• Bussing tables, sweeping, reorganizing chairs and maintaining a clean customer area
• Refilling to-go containers: coffee cups, lids, sleeves, pastry bags, shopping bags, etc.
• Restocking pastry display cases as needed
• Building pastry boxes and stamping them with the Aurore logo
• Stamping to-go items like bags, cups, and sleeves
• Keeping your workspace clean and organized at all times
• Following all cleanliness and food safety protocols

Schedule:

• Friday to Sunday 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• Approximately 21 hours/week
• Part-time, year-round (not seasonal)

What We’re Looking For:

• No experience required — just a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Physically able to lift up to 55 lbs and work on your feet for 7 hours
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable with repetitive cleaning tasks and staying active
• Friendly and helpful with team members and occasionally with customers
• Takes initiative and cares about keeping things tidy and running smoothly
• Open to learning about French hospitality and culture

Not a fit if you:

• Dislike fast-paced or physically demanding work
• Can’t commit to early mornings or weekend shifts
• Prefer slow or quiet environments
• Aren’t looking for a consistent part-time role
