As an Electrical Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various Electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical distribution systems, contactors, and starters.
Electrical Technician
Your Tasks
Understanding approach boundaries, restrictive boundaries, NFPA 70E trained.
Understand Cal ratings and safety equipment as used in distribution system of medium voltage.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on distribution systems to ensure optimal performance reliability.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to design and implement electrical
system upgrades and modifications.
Understand LOTO and able to perform multiple lock out boxes.
Document all maintenance and repaid activities, including updating schematics, manuals, and other technical documentation.
Has the ability to install and troubleshoot, Motor Starters and Controls, like Cycle Start Buttons, Limits Switches, Sensors, Power Supplies and can run wire said items.
Knowledge of AC and DC voltage a must – 480V to 24V. (preferred 4160V)
Your Profile
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a controls Technician or in a similar role.
Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting(e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control devices.
Experience with SCADA systems, DCS, HMIs and other control system software.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagram, and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communicaton and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed
Willingness to take responsibility and make decisions within the equipment and process margins.

Must be able to perform the following: walking, standing, climbing, pulling, and or pushing, carrying, grasping, using hand-to-finger movement, balancing, reaching, twisting, turning and stooping for most of every day.
May occasionally be required to reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time.
Good physical condition with the ability to lift to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Good hand/eye coordination, motor skills, 20/20 corrected vision and hearing within the normal range. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to travel throughout facility as required to conduct safety inspections
Must wear all required PPE when in protected areas.
