Production Material Planner/Scheduler

We are seeking a Material Planner to join our team! This role focuses on planning and scheduling material flow to meet production goals, ensuring efficient manufacturing workflows, and collaborating with various teams to resolve issues and improve processes. The ideal candidate has experience with ERP systems (Sage preferred), strong analytical and organizational skills, and is bilingual in English and Spanish. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth material flow to meet customer deadlines.
• Use forecasts and orders to optimize manufacturing efficiency and reduce overtime.
• Plan material movement and scheduling based on production sequences and timelines.
• Monitor material needs and availability, working with inventory and procurement teams.

Communication and Coordination:

• Update production teams on shipment priorities and special projects.
• Collaborate with customer service and sales on urgent orders.
• Work with design engineers on new products and part setups.
• Coordinate with purchasing and receiving teams to resolve material delays.
• Address production issues and develop both short-term fixes and long-term solutions.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Use ERP/MRP systems to schedule production.
• Analyze data to improve scheduling and production performance.
• Track orders, maintain workflows, and prepare reports.
• Assess production capacity and optimize tools and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or related certification.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially Sage.
• Strong in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bilingual (English-Spanish) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
