Your Mission:
To deliver outstanding customer service by preparing and serving food, maintaining a clean and inviting café space, and contributing to a fun, productive team environment that enhances each guest's visit to Ausable Chasm.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide Exceptional Service: Greet guests warmly, take orders, and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Operate Point-of-Sale Systems: Handle transactions efficiently using cash registers, credit card machines, and handheld electronic devices.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and serve food items promptly, ensuring high-quality standards and accuracy. (As per New York State Department of Health age approved job duties.)
- Maintain Cleanliness: Uphold industry food safety and sanitation standards by keeping the café area, equipment, and checkout counters clean and organized.
- Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels and restock food items, beverages, and supplies as needed for seamless operations.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the Food Service Manager, team members, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Setup and Closing Duties: Participate in morning setup and evening closing tasks to ensure the café is guest-ready at all times.
- Adapt and Support: Perform other duties as assigned, handling variable workloads with a positive attitude.
