Our Earth & Environment services is growing and we are looking for a Junior Civil Geotechnical – Denver US to join us. We are seeking highly motivated individual with excellent technical and interpersonal skills to work with our talented team in delivering outstanding service to our clients.
About The Role
- Assist in conducting geotechnical investigations and analyses to support project requirements.
- Plan, implement, and oversee geotechnical investigation programs, ensuring they align with project goals and timelines.
- Support laboratory testing activities, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
- Prepare detailed calculation spreadsheets to support engineering designs and analyses.
- Develop high-quality technical reports that communicate findings and recommendations clearly.
- Contribute to technical presentations and assist in the review and interpretation of instrumentation data.
- Collaborate effectively as an integral team member in a multidisciplinary environment to drive project success.
- Willingness to travel to client sites within the USA and internationally to support project activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, with an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification will be an asset
- A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Solid understanding of soil characterization, laboratory testing, and data collection techniques.
- Eagerness to learn and gain experience in the design of tailings storage facilities and waste rock dumps.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
