About The Role
- Work within a multidisciplinary project team of designers and ensure interdisciplinary co-ordination when developing the models
- Develop structural models in a 3D environment using SmartPlant
- Prepare structural and concrete layout detail designs and drawings in line with project design requirements for various areas of a concentrator facility (specifically tailings thickener and filtration plants)
- Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology (structural or architectural) from a recognized college.
- Experience in structural steel and concrete modeling, design and drafting.
- Proficiency in 2D drafting is a must.
- Proficiency in Smart Plant 3D modeling or other 3D modeling software is a must.
- Well-developed written and oral skills
- Understanding of industry regulatory codes and standards
- Site experience and shop detailing is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of multi-functional project teams is a must
