Our Earth & Environment services is growing and we are looking for a Senior Civil Geotechnical – Denver US to join us. We are seeking highly motivated individual with excellent technical and interpersonal skills to work with our talented team in delivering outstanding service to our clients.
About The Role
- Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses (flood mapping, water balance, modeling) to support water management.
- Design, optimize, and implement water management systems (supply, treatment, disposal) in compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams for system integration into overall project design.
- Conduct environmental assessments, including baseline studies and impact assessments.
- Perform site visits to assess and improve existing water management systems.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and documentation related to water resources engineering.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in mining and/or water management projects (including dams and stormwater).
- Degree in Water Resources, Civil, Environmental, or Hydrotechnical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
- Proficient in hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, GoldSim, and hydrology models like HEC-HMS and PCSWMM.
- Experience with numerical modeling tools (e.g., HEC models, Telemac, SOBEK, Delft3D).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and compelling proposals.
- Proven ability to manage projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
