Position: Healthcare Construction Superintendent
Ausley Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Construction Superintendent to join its Central Pennsylvania team. Preferred Experience:
- Five (5) years of healthcare and commercial construction experience.
- Proven track record of successfully managing healthcare facility projects.
Responsibilities:
As a Healthcare Construction Superintendent, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing various aspects of healthcare construction projects from start to finish. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Project Coordination: Overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring that all work is performed according to project schedules and deadlines.
- Subcontractor Management: Scheduling and coordinating subcontractors, ensuring their work meets quality and safety standards.
- Quality Control: Ensuring that all construction meets contract specifications, hospital guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Inspections & Compliance: Managing site inspections, working closely with inspectors, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Jobsite Safety: Enforcing strict safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings, and ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Communication & Teamwork: Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, hospital administrators, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Problem-Solving: Addressing challenges or delays proactively and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities to effectively interact with subcontractors, clients, and project teams.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, infection control procedures, and hospital construction best practices.
- Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools is a plus.
