Recruiting a Sawmill Supervisor for our client who is in the wood industry. To be considered, you must have hands-on experience in the wood industry and experience leading, training and developing a production team. You’ll focus on providing leadership as they operate equipment safely, produce quality products, and achieve production targets.
You’ll be tasked with team building and need to understand the financial metrics and accounting for a sawmill operation. We need you to coach, teach, & build up people and celebrate the successes as well as hold your staff accountable for goals. You’ll need skills such as communication, listening for understanding, team building, problem-solving, decision-making skills. Fully embrace safety compliance and lead by example. You’ll need a solid understanding of product quality standards.

Minimum requirements for this Supervisor’s position:
- High School diploma or GED
- Wood manufacturing background – plywood, sawmill, engineering wood, veneer, etc.
· Team building, leadership, organizational, & computer skills.
