Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, catering, guest services, and event marketing.
- Collaborate with guests to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best services at competitive rates.
- Manage event budgets and ensure all expenses are tracked accurately.
- Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring all details are in place and addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Develop marketing materials and strategies to promote events effectively.
- Maintain strong relationships with team members to foster collaboration and ensure satisfaction.
- Events will range from school field trips, birthday parties, private events, and on site calendar events.
- Other responsibilities include answering phones, emails, and assisting guests as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and vendors.
- Time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
