What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Services position at Austin Aquarium?
We're looking for someone to fill a pivotal role in ensuring guest satisfaction at our aquarium. You will be focused on optimizing each guest’s experience by promoting memberships, and token sales, and passing on overall knowledge of how our facility/encounters work.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have one year or more of customer service, guest relations, or sales experience.
- Special consideration will be given to those who exhibit a proven track record of exemplary customer service/sales performance in other business fields with strong leadership abilities, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Be incredibly friendly, love to smile, and have an uplifting and welcoming demeanor.
- Have good computer skills and POS experience.
- Check guests in a courteous manner using selling techniques to upsell tokens or memberships/annual passes.
- Respond quickly to guest requests or complaints in a friendly manner and appropriate action is taken. If needed get a member of management involved to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Be on time and reliable
- Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
