REPORTS TO : National Sales Director & Director of Operations
LOCATION : Austin, Texas
SALARY : $60,000 - $70,000 annually commission

Spanning over 30,000 square feet and featuring award-winning culinary options, this venue caters to groups of 10 to over 1,000. Job Summary :
The Event Sales Manager will drive event bookings and revenue at this premier Austin location, managing everything from initial inquiry to event execution. This role emphasizes business development and community networking, perfect for someone eager to build client relationships, close sales, and enhance the venue’s reputation as a top event destination.
Compensation & Benefits :
Competitive Salary Uncapped Commission : 4% of realized sales, with anticipated earnings of approximately $40,000 in commission based on $1 million in sales. Weekly payouts upon realized sales, with no commission cap.

Key Responsibilities :
Sales and Business Development
Actively pursue corporate and social event bookings, expanding the client base through outreach.
Complete a minimum of 20 outreach contacts weekly, attend at least 2 networking events monthly, and conduct client site tours.
Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and create unique client activations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, vendors, and community organizations.
Host a minimum of 1 showcase event per year to highlight the venue’s features and capabilities.
Networking & Community Outreach
Represent the venue at industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to expand client connections and drive venue visibility.
Collaborate with Marketing to create outreach campaigns that highlight the venue’s unique offerings.
Sales Execution & Client Communication
Conduct site tours and meet with prospective clients to customize event solutions.
Utilize Tripleseat for booking and event coordination, ensuring accurate communication with Operations, vendors, and clients.
Maintain relationships with corporate clients and event planners to encourage repeat business.
Administrative & Analytical Duties
Utilize CRM systems for lead tracking, follow-up management, and data organization.
Conduct post-event analyses to refine sales strategies.
Accurately handle financial transactions and reporting for client bookings.

Requirements :
3-5 years of experience in event sales, business development, or related hospitality roles
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
