2025 ACFstudents Summer Staff
May 19 – Aug 7 {Dates somewhat flexible}
Approximate Days/Hours: Monday – Thursday, 9:00a –4:00pm; Wednesday, 6:00pm-8:00pm; Sunday, 8am–2pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Christ Follower: Passionately pursuing an ongoing relationship with God
- Possible interest in pursuing Christian ministry as a professional career
- Previous Student Ministry volunteer or student leadership experience preferred
- Teachable spirit and a desire to learn
- Servant’s heart – continuously putting other’s needs above your own
- Humble, authentic, honest, and transparent approach to reaching students
- Passion or discipleship and spiritual growth of students
- Flexible, dedicated, dependable and highly motivated personality
- Responsible, attention to detail in preparation for events and activities
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents and volunteers, as well as students
TIME DIVISION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
15 Hours Per Week Devoted To General Tasks:
- Preparation of rooms & supplies for weekend services
- Curriculum Plannning for Summer services & Bible Studies
- One-on-ones and group activities with students
- Room/Building updates & changes
- Other as eeds arise
4 Hours Per Week Devoted To Development:
· Weekly Development as a team
· Weekly One-on-ones with student staff member
· Meetings with other Staff members as scheduled
8 Hours Per Week Devoted To Service Help:
- 6 Hours on Sunday Morning Services (Student & Main)
- 2 Hours for Wednesday Night Bible Study
12-15 Hours Per Week Devoted To Special Projects:
- Summer Staff led events
- Summer Camp
- GUM Mission Trip
COMPENSATION:
- Pay: $10/hour for 30- 40 hours per week
- Benefits or insurance are not given
- Options for a home stay in the ACF area (must have own transportation)
